Tympanon, a trio made up of two Montreal
musicians: fiddler/guitarist Jean-Pierre Leduc ,
accordionist/singer Mireille Girard, and Sam
Moffatt on dulcimer, accordeon and voice offers
traditional reels and quadrilles from Quebec, as
well as spirited response songs and old-fashioned
waltzes--these are mixed with a repertoire of
Brazilian pieces from the 70s, French cafe songs
and waltzes, fiddle tunes from Appalachia, and
